Canadian Outlet Shopping Assistant

A read-only assistant for searching CanadianOutlet.com, viewing product details, comparing options, and reading store policies inside ChatGPT or Claude.

What it does

The assistant connects to CanadianOutlet.com's public product catalog and published policy pages and returns factual answers with links back to the store. It is read-only. It never processes payments, accesses accounts, or changes any data.

• search_products - find products by query, optional category, and maximum CAD price.
• get_product_details - factual details for one product (price, availability, condition, specs).
• compare_products - compare 2 to 4 products on price, condition, and specs.
• get_store_policy - answers from published policies (shipping, returns, refunds, privacy, terms, and more).

How to add it

Claude (Pro / Max / Team / Enterprise): In Settings, open Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the URL below, leave authentication blank, and add it.

ChatGPT (Developer Mode): In Settings, open Connectors, choose Create, paste the URL below, and select no authentication.

No Canadian Outlet account or login is required. The connector is public and read-only.

Troubleshooting

• If results do not load, retry. The service may be waking from idle and then responds normally.
• If a product or policy can't be found, the assistant says so rather than guessing; check the linked page on CanadianOutlet.com.

Privacy & support

Privacy policy: assistant.canadianoutlet.com/privacy. The Assistant does not retain tool inputs after a request, while infrastructure providers may process limited network and security metadata as described in the policy.
