This policy explains how the Canadian Outlet Shopping Assistant (the “Assistant”), a read-only app for ChatGPT, handles information. The Assistant lets you search CanadianOutlet.com products, view product details, compare items, and read published store policies.
Only what you provide when you use one of its tools, sent to it by ChatGPT:
The Assistant does not request or store your name, email, phone number, address, payment-card details, government IDs, passwords, or any account credentials. Its tools contain no fields for personal information, and it performs no advertising, tracking, or behavioral profiling.
The Assistant queries public, read-only CanadianOutlet.com data sources — the store's product catalog and its published policy pages — to answer your request, and returns factual results with links back to CanadianOutlet.com.
The Assistant sends requests only to public canadianoutlet.com endpoints. It does not sell or share personal data with third parties. Your interaction with ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI's privacy policy.
The Assistant has no user accounts and stores no personal data. It keeps a short-lived in-memory cache of public product and policy data (about five minutes) purely for speed; this is discarded when the service restarts. Operational logs are minimal and do not include personal information or the content of your requests.
The Assistant is read-only. It never processes payments, creates orders, or accesses any customer account. To buy, check out, or manage an order, it links you to CanadianOutlet.com, where the store's website privacy policy applies.
The Assistant is intended for users aged 13 and older.
